These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the LEISearch API, website, and related services ("Service") operated by Aviada Agentic AI Solutions Limited ("Aviada", "we", "us"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation.
LEISearch provides programmatic access to Legal Entity Identifier (LEI) data sourced from the GLEIF Golden Copy dataset, sanctions screening against published government and intergovernmental lists, corporate ownership graph traversal, and related compliance data services. The underlying GLEIF data is maintained by the Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation and is published under open data principles. LEISearch adds value through infrastructure, enrichment, and tooling — not through proprietary data ownership.
The Service is intended for use by regulated financial institutions, compliance professionals, technology teams, and organisations with a legitimate need for legal entity data. It is not intended for consumer use.
Access to the API requires an API key. Free tier keys are issued by request. Pro tier keys are issued automatically upon completion of a Stripe checkout. Enterprise keys are issued under separate agreement.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your API key. Your key must not be shared, published in publicly accessible code repositories, or embedded in client-side applications. If you believe your key has been compromised, contact ash@leisearch.pro immediately for rotation.
Each API key is associated with one account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent rate limits or obtain additional free access is prohibited and will result in immediate termination of all associated keys.
You may use the Service for any lawful purpose consistent with these Terms. The following uses are expressly prohibited:
Rate limits are applied per API key and are specified in your tier documentation. Exceeding your rate limit will result in HTTP 429 responses. Systematic or automated attempts to circumvent rate limits — including key rotation, IP rotation, or request distribution across multiple accounts — constitute a breach of these Terms.
We reserve the right to throttle, suspend, or terminate access for accounts whose usage patterns suggest abuse, excessive load, or circumvention of tier limits, with or without prior notice in cases of significant abuse.
Pro subscriptions are billed monthly in advance at the rate published on leisearch.pro at the time of subscription. Prices are displayed in GBP and are inclusive of any applicable VAT where charged.
Payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. By subscribing, you authorise Aviada to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until cancellation. Aviada does not store your payment card details.
Subscriptions may be cancelled at any time through the Stripe Customer Portal, accessible via your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are issued for partial months, except where required by applicable consumer protection law.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' written notice to your registered email address. Continued use of the Service after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.
LEI data sourced from GLEIF is published by GLEIF under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International licence (CC BY 4.0). You may use LEI data returned by the API subject to the attribution requirements of that licence. Attribution: Global Legal Entity Identifier Foundation (GLEIF), gleif.org.
Sanctions data is sourced from publicly published government lists including OFAC (US Treasury), the EU Consolidated Financial Sanctions list, the UN Security Council Consolidated list, and UK OFSI. These are public domain government publications. No additional intellectual property rights are claimed over sanctions data returned by the API.
The LEISearch API, matching engine, ownership graph traversal logic, gap report generation, and all associated software and documentation are the intellectual property of Aviada Agentic AI Solutions Limited. No licence to these is granted except the right to use the Service as described in these Terms.
The Service provides data infrastructure. It does not constitute legal, regulatory, compliance, or financial advice. Sanctions screening results returned by the API are based on published government lists and automated matching algorithms. They do not constitute a legal determination of sanctions status. You are solely responsible for the compliance decisions made by your organisation, the interpretation of screening results, and compliance with applicable law.
Aviada accepts no liability for regulatory penalties, fines, enforcement actions, or compliance failures arising from reliance on the Service.
We aim to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Planned maintenance will be communicated with reasonable notice where possible. Service Level Agreement commitments, where applicable, are set out in a separate SLA document available upon request.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time. For material changes to core API functionality, we will provide 60 days' notice to active subscribers where reasonably practicable.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Aviada and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, breach of these Terms, violation of applicable law, or infringement of third-party rights.
You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription and ceasing use of the Service.
Aviada may suspend or terminate your access immediately and without notice if you breach these Terms, engage in fraudulent or abusive conduct, or if required to do so by law or a regulatory authority. Upon termination, your API keys will be deactivated and access to the Service will cease. Sections 6, 7, 9, 10, 12, and 13 survive termination.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where applicable consumer protection law requires otherwise.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any applicable SLA, constitute the entire agreement between you and Aviada regarding the Service. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force. Aviada's failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver. These Terms may not be assigned by you without Aviada's prior written consent. Aviada may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of its assets.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to registered users by email at least 30 days before they take effect. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the date of the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
